Advocacy

Advocacy is standing up for the interests of a group. For SPS-NIP this means representing the interests of all psychology students in the Netherlands. Advocacy forms an important part of our mission, and therefore we engage in it on a large scale. We see it as a major responsibility to represent the voice of all psychology students.

Advocacy can take place in many different ways: from having a say in how clinical master’s programmes link up with post-master GZ-programmes, to helping break the stigma around mental wellbeing among students. We have various collaborations with organisations across the country and are continuously looking for new forms of advocacy.
